Minecraft: The Wild Update will be the next big update for the game and bring news like Warden, Allay, new biomes, frogs, and blocks. The update, which was announced during the Minecraft Live 2021 digital event and will be released on June 7, has become much anticipated after the delay of the Warden mob, which should have arrived with Caves & Cliffs. Minecraft: The Wild Update will be available for all Bedrock versions of the game on Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 5 ( PS5 ), Xbox One, PlayStation 4 ( PS4 ), Nintendo Switch, Android, iPhone (iOS ), and Windows 10, as well as Java versions for PC, Mac, and Linux. See below for more details on the long-awaited update.
Minecraft Deep Dark
The new Deep Dark Biome is a shadowy area that lies below the base of the current caves and that has a problematic characteristic: absolute silence. After digging to this location, the player will have to move carefully not to activate the new sound-sensitive Shrieker blocks, which players in Redstone machines can use. If the Shrieker beeps four times, a new creature, the Warden, will be summoned. It is a powerful monster that will be difficult to face even with Netherite weapons and armor.
The only advantage players have over the Warden is that he has poor eyesight, guided by sound and smell. You can avoid him by making little noise or using arrows and other projectiles to distract him. These techniques only try to escape the Warden at first, but if the player tries to fight him, the creature will be more focused on combat and will no longer be fooled as easily.

Allay
The new Allay mob was added to the game through a user vote during the Minecraft Live event in 2021. It is a little blue flying creature that will accompany the protagonist’s Steve and Alex and will be able to collect specific items if given commands. They are also music lovers and will be able to hang around musical notepads.
Mangrove Swamp and Frogs
The new swamp biome Mangrove Swamp features a new type of tree called the Mangrove Tree, which has extensive roots that stick out of the ground as its main feature. The species also provides a new kind of wood that will generate new textures for all items crafted from it. This biome will also be possible to find the new Mud block, an essential item to create Mud Bricks. Crafting the new material will be pretty straightforward, as the recipe only requires Earth blocks and water bottles.
Frogs are new passive mobs that can appear with three different looks. The frog will be the first mob whose adult version differs from the baby, as tadpoles will have their representation and need water to develop. The player can feed them Slimeballs to make them breed. The frog can also eat Magma Cubes, enemies of the Nether, which will cause them to drop a glowing block called Foglight. The block’s color will depend on the type of frog that ate it.
Boat with trunk
A great new addition for adventurers is the new Chest Boat, which will allow the player to freely explore the waters, carry their items, and bring back the rewards of their adventure. The boat’s capacity is a single chest, with 27 spaces. In addition, unlike the traditional craft, which can take two people, the Boat with Trunk offers space for one passenger.
No fireflies
One of the promised news that ended up being canceled was the addition of fireflies (Fireflies) to Mangrove Swamp. The tiny glowing insects would light up the biome and serve as food for the frogs if they were added. However, the team backed out of the addition upon discovering that some fireflies could be poisonous to the animal. After the cancellation of this update, the developers commented that they have no plans to bring the bugs into the game themselves in the future.
